He holds a Master's degree in Natural Resources Management, from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia in Lisbon, and a degree in Biology, from the Faculty of Sciences in Lisbon. He is Guest Professor at the Escola Superior Agrária de Santarém, where he has taught various subjects related to the Environment. He was president of the Portuguese Association for Impact Assessment (2013-2016).
He specializes in the management of multidisciplinary teams, in the analysis and assessment of environmental and socio-economic impacts, in the management of natural resources and habitats, in nature conservation, in sustainability and in spatial planning. He has over 31 years of experience.
